How to start the electric diet

There is a proper way to success for all diets, but the way towards the electric diet transition is very unique.  The best way to start the electric diet, is to introduce it into your lifestyle through fasting.

There are several ways that you can go about fasting, and everyone will have their favorite way.  I found what works best for me is the Master Cleanse (or also called the Lemonade Diet).  I find that this is the best fast that prepares your body and mind for the transition into the electric diet.

 

The Master Cleanse experience

There was a lot of hype around the Master Cleanse around the time when Beyonce said that she used this method to drop 20 pounds in 2 weeks for the filming of Dreamgirls.  It is a fast that is very challenging, but has amazing results. Here are the ingredients involved in completing the Master Cleanse aka the Lemonade Diet right:

Organic Limes or Lemons
Grade B Maple Syrup
Alkaline Water
Cayenne Pepper

You will also need:

Sea Salt
Senna Tea (or Smooth Move Tea for a mild laxative)

The process is simple and can be mastered very quickly.  All you need to do is drink 6-8 glasses (64 ounces) of the lemon or lime juice (2 oz.), 1 Tbs. of Grade B Maple Syrup, and a few dashes of the Cayenne pepper.  Then simply drink 1 glass or 2 of water in between each glass of the lemon mixture.

This process cleanses your intestines, liver and kidney's very well.  It removes all of the excess toxins in your body and will rejuvenate dead cells.  The hardest days are the first 2, but after that the hunger subsides and you will have the energy to keep going.

The grade b syrup provides all of the vitamins and minerals that your body needs to prevent it going into starvation mode.  The lemons and limes act as an astringent to the digestive system.  And the Cayenne pepper is said to stimulate circulation, rejuvenation of cells and also boost the metabolism.

Doing this process is easy.  The hardest part is executing the salt water flush each morning! Make sure you do the flushes early enough in the day that you have time to go to the bathroom! The salt water flush is a natural laxative that draws plenty of water into the intestines so that all of the build-up toxins and proper waste can be eliminated on a steady basis.

The senna leaf tea is also a natural laxative made from the natural senna plant. The easiest brand of tea to find with the right amount of senna leaf inside is the Smooth Move brand, that can be found in the organic section of most supermarkets.

The tea is unpleasant at first, but after awhile be sure to give yourself an hour or 2 after each one so that you can use the restroom.  Take one of the laxatives at night, and the other in the morning. 

It is advised to not take the master cleanse for any longer than 10 days.  The most common way to start and end the fast is by raw veggie or juice fasting, 2 days prior and 2 days after hard fasting.  This gets you going and eliminates shock to the body.

It always shocks me how some people share that after they completed the Master Cleanse, they thought they'd gorge on a steak or hamburger the day after! Some people actually do this.  But even though you might think you will, you probably won't. 

I found that after I completed the cleanse my tastebuds and entire mind around food changed.  I did not have the common cravings for certain foods anymore.  I actually craved the veggies; both raw or soup form.  I could really taste fruits and vegetables for what they really were after the cleanse. which was yummy.

I could not wrap my mind around eating meat or heavily breaded, fried or processed "foods" after the cleanse.  Overall, this fasting method prepares you for the electric food diet lifestyle and sustains you to truly incorporate the lifestyle of eating electric into your daily life.

Eliminate food cravings

Eliminating food cravings, especially those for sugar, caffeine and fat saturated foods is simple once you combat the cravings with a fasting method of your choice and the process of eating electric foods.  Eliminating cravings is the best tactic to keep you on track towards living your new lifestyle.

By getting rid of cravings the natural way, you maintain your weight easily and without thought! I thought I could never give up my favorite foods such as cheesecake, ice cream and pork sandwiches from subway! But after I educated myself on the electric food model, and began living the life, I would have to force myself to eat these foods (and especially over-eat these foods) again if I wanted too.

Getting rid of your cravings is a must (the natural way!) if you want to have complete weight loss management under control for the rest of your life.

In conclusion

Starting the electric diet is most beneficial and successful when you start it with a solid fasting method.  This allow you to frame your mind and physical body around the new lifestyle you will be incorporating into your life.

There are other methods of fasting (water fasting, juice, intermittent etc.) but the most effective way to fast and rid your body of excess weight and toxins is the Master Cleanse.

It is best to never fast for more than a period of 10 days , especially without the proper guidance from your medical doctor.
